Re: STRANGE OSPF ISSUE WITH VL

To me it looks contradictory to set max-metric lsa on router that you want
to establish a virtual link. You are establishing a virtual link to use an
area as a transit area , yet max-metric lsa is used to make other routers in
the domain NOT not to use the router for any transit traffic ( in this case
infinitely since you have no conditions specified ).

Unless your scenario is specifically asking you to use this command I would
be looking for another solution to achieve the desired effect of the
scenario without using this command.
