This is example of something a poor designing:

1. If the Engineer wanted to make it as Trunk port then he should have
configured this as trunk
2. If he wanted it to become as Access port then it should have been
Access port.
3. or at the worst case leave it as "Dynamic Desirable" wherein it will
become as Trunk port if connected to other switch (Trunk port/Dynamic
Desirable).

We had a issue some time back where in our whole network was down when
one of our guy plugged a switch port to a hub. After investgation, we
found that the port on switch the guy plugged to Hub was configured as
Access port with Portfast enabled and no BPDUGUARD was configured on it.

So sometimes, it depend on who has configured this.

Its showing as a trunk port but i just wanted to confirm if there is any
reason a port will be configured in this fashion.
