Hello everybody
I've been reading everyones emails for a few weeks now that I've found
very interesting but this is the first time I've actually sent an email
to this group study so go easy on me!
My question is with regards to weighted fair queueing on a frame-relay
interface.
My config is as below:-
interface Serial0/0
ip address 1.1.4.4 255.255.0.0
encapsulation frame-relay
no fair-queue ADDED
automatically in response to the encap frame command?
frame-relay class shape
frame-relay traffic-shaping
frame-relay map ip 1.2.5.5 405 broadcast
frame-relay interface-dlci 405
class shape
no frame-relay inverse-arp
frame-relay lmi-type cisco
map-class frame-relay shape
frame-relay cir 256000
frame-relay mincir 192000
frame-relay adaptive-shaping becn
frame-relay fecn-adapt
frame-relay fair-queue
Everything to do with my frame-relay connection works fine so I don't
think I need any help troubleshooting that.
However the command sh queueing int s0/0 shows the following...
show queueing interface serial0/0
Interface Serial0/0 queueing strategy: priority
Output queue utilization (queue/count)
high/0 medium/0 normal/1074 low/0
Why does this show priority queueing and not WFQ, have I missed
something? (other than the fact I've applied the class-map "shape" twice
getting carried away) Speaking of which, will WFQ queueing be
configured for the DLCI even if its not the for the main interface?
I'd be very greatful for any help with this.
Cheers Gents, and Ladies for that matter
Alex
