RE: [OT]: Errata on "Routing TCP/IP Vol.1 Second Ed."

Ooops, Ben, you are right. I also make typos ;-)

The point was, that you will occasionally find 2 lines mistakenly merged
into one. Here are some examples (at least in my own copy):

P.647 Example 11-20: 3rd and 7th lines should be
redistribute eigrp 2
passive-interface Fastethernet0/0

redistribute eigrp 1
network 192.168.4.0

P.649 Example 11-23: last line should be
default-metric 50
network 192.168.3.33 0.0.0.0 area 0

P.651 Example 11-25: last line should be <--- Juan's contribution
default-metric 50
network 192.168.3.33 0.0.0.0 area 0

P.742 Example 14-16: 2nd line should be
ip address 172.16.1.4 255.255.255.0
ip policy route-map Woodstock
!

Here's another typo but not quite related to the above.

P.790 line 16: The SNMP port in bracket should be 161 (also 162 for SNMPTRAP
but not 169).
While that section illustrates the use of TCP access lists, it is arguable
whether SNMP uses the TCP ports 161 and 162, rather than the UDP ports 161
and 162 also reserved for it.

I can't seem to find the error in p.434 example 8-56. Could you elaborate?

Ben
