Re: OT: How to sell off a home lab

I just went through this very process about 2 months ago and sold
everything via eBay.

If we're talking about a full blown lab then we're talking a few
thousand dollars. I actually tried selling mine as a complete package
on for less than the individual pieces would be (a deal so-to-speak).
It was listed for about a week with no takers (no big surprise).

After the "package" wouldn't sell I listed some items individually
such as 3550, APC Master Switch, 2511,etc. As for the rest of the
routers and such... I grouped some of the routers/cables together in
mini-labs geared towards the CCNA/CCNP crowd. For example I sold 3
2600s and cables as a package.

To my surprise the 2500's I had (2501s, 2511, 2522) were some of the
first routers to sell... I really thought they'd be the hardest to
sell. As it turned out the 2600s were the most difficult to get rid
of. From start to finish it took about 5 weeks to sell everything I
had.

All of this equipment was purchased on eBay and I sold all of it on
eBay... no issues here.
