Gas is $8.37 a gallon in the UK.
800 dollars a day contracting is a good rate here. I read contracting can
pay much more per hour in the States. But I guess somethings cost more over
there than here.
I holidayed in Florida in 1991. One of the things that impressed me was the
food. I mean you got a ton of food for very little money. Didn't know what
to do with it all really.
We ordered a Domino delivered to the hotel room. This thing was like a
freaking satellite dish full of extra toppings and fed 4 of us! Didn't cost
much either.
By comparison the Mcdonalds and Pizzas and Dunkin Donuts back home seemed
much smaller and way, way more expensive.
Then drinks..you could buy a 'GULP' which was large..or a 'big gulp' or a
'super big gulp' which would fill a lake.
Have portion sizes decreased and prices increased since then?
