Hi There
You need to power off the switch.
Then, while you apply power to it keep the mode button depressed until
the Status LED goes off. The SYST LED will blink Amber.
Release the mode button and this will take you into the ROMMON-like mode
of the switch.
Type in - flash_init
Type in - load_helper
Type in - dir
Look for the config.text or config.txt file and rename it to config.old
boot the switch. It will boot into default configuration mode as if it
was a brand new switch.
Once the switch has booted up, rename the config.old file back to
config.text. Copy startup config to running config and then change the
password.
