Hello group,
This is a feature that i'm not confortable with. I see too many options and
i don't know exactly which one to apply for a given scenario. Besides that,
it will affect differently 3 types of traffic: non-IP, IPv4 and IPv6.
Here's the command and options:
port-channel load-balance {dst-ip | dst-mac | src-dst-ip | src-dst-mac |
src-ip | src-mac}
Let's say we have these 4 hipotetical scenarios:
A) 1 Host---CatA====Etherchannel====CatB----1 Host
B) 1 Host---CatA====Etherchannel====CatB----1000 Hosts
C) 1000 Hosts---CatA====Etherchannel====CatB----1 Host
D) 1000 Hosts---CatA====Etherchannel====CatB----1000 Host
In CatA's perspective, which option best fits each scenario ? For
simplicity, assume IPv4 only traffic.
Thanks,
Antonio
