BSR can fall victom to split horizon issues. Make sure your BSR is on
the hub of the fr.

Have you tried to enable pim on the loopback interfaces ?
Have you checked IGP connectivity between the loopbacks ?
Do you have ip multicast-routing enabled on both routers ?
R4 and R5 are seeing each other as PIM neighbors ?

Subject: BSR Configuration
Hi,
I'm wrestling with a simple BSR configuration :
I created the following network
R1----FR-----R4----HDLC-----R5----ETH----E2
|--------------------FR------------------ |
I configured R4 & R5 with BSR configuration but when I do a
debug they
don't seem to see each other messages
