Some people may think I am crazy for saying this, but I have taken it twice,
still have not passed, but on my first attempt, I chalked it up to a
learning experience. Yeah, a $1250 learning experience, but none the less,
a learning experience. Also my second time, a learning experience. I say
this because every time I get the dreaded email (FAIL), I look back and
review what I did:
1. time management
2. overall knowledge of the topics
3. initial preparation (did my drawings, had time left to review my configs)
4. how well did I handle the pressure.
Usually I will find that I needed to improve a bit on one of these areas and
I press on. I keep in mind that though some people pass it first time, the
statistics support the facts, it usually takes more than once. Press on, or
as my father tells me still, "get back on the horse and keep trying". It is
a HUGE disappointment, you do put in a lot of time, put off your family,
loose a lot of sleep, but when I see all the emails in GroupStudy about
"well I finally get to send this email....I passed", I look forward to the
day that I will be able to send that email, and I will send that email.
Hang in there, think back about what you know you did wrong and work on
making that stronger. Keep practicing and hang in there, you will make it.

Subject: How to start again after failing your first try
Dear Group,
I failed on my first try 12 June 2007 , I prepared well for the exam
but the Exam stress and some stupid mistakes I made cause me much time.
anyway I need to start again and get ready for the 2nd try
I don't need what to do ??
I already read most of recommended books , practice a lot
my weak points are multicast, service, and security
I know that have to learn more about these and practice them more, but i
don't feel like studying again
any suggestion....
Thanks
Mohamed
