I understand your string as you are dialing "777" to activate the data call.
That is not WIMAX. In WimaX you dont' need to dial. Also they've provided
you a phone number # ?)

So that is some sort of EVDO or HSDPA technology which runs on the
GSM/CDMA2000.

Anyhow, good to know that you are also LINUX guy.
