  Hi Ben,
   For my XP machine I lived the same problem for the old dynamips/dynagen
revisions. My solution is I am erasing the nvram then prompt the "copy run
start" command, also the second method I used to copy running config with a
different name then it is erasing the flash(it is my way to clean the erase
flash for 3645 series), after that I use same method, "erasing nvram then
copy run start". I can't guarantee but it is working for me :).
