Yup, golden rule "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" usually applies :-)
This doesn't explain all the new system rollouts. I guess people are just comfortable with HSRP, no matter how bad it is. What I find surprising is that HSRP is still preferred to VRRP.

Can someone tell me why GLBP hasn't replaced HSRP as rapidly as I would have thought ?
There still seems to be an awful amount of HSRP around and few people seem to want to change to GLBP.
I would have thought the benefits of GLBP are obvious.
Or does the philosophy "never touch a runnings system" prevail ?
