I have done the following with success. I changed the encapsulation to ppp
and then shutdown the interface before applying all the Frame Relay configs.
There were 5 maps on my router before and after this only the static map I
divined.
Thank you for the advice Yemi

You're certainly right my friend, I agree with you. Like I said in my
previous mail, "why not bounce"; it's just an option to fulfil Hank's not
having to reload the router. I cant stick my neck 100% for this bouncing
method, I remember using it once in the lab, went to launch and came back to
still see those dreaded 0.0.0.0 in my frame-relay maps.
Can't really say what happened but at the end of the day, had to reload and
kept checking the frame-relay maps until leaving the lab room
Just another option in the bag mate.
Many Thanks

Henk,
This topic has been a topic of discussion sometime ago on the GS.
The idea he is that some will tell you that you should bounce the interface,
or clear frame-relay inarp, my experience with these is that sometime it
works and sometimes not, the best way to be sure is to reload the router.
