Hi GS,
Did anyone face a problem in creating VLANs in the 3640 Switch simulated
using Dynamips. I am getting the following error message and have no clue on
that since it happens only for few device.
SW1#vlan database
SW1(vlan)#exit
APPLY completed.
Exiting....
SW1#vlan database
SW1(vlan)#vlan 2
VLAN 2 added:
Name: VLAN0002
SW1(vlan)#exit
not enough space on flash to store vlandatabase. trying squeeze...First
create squeeze log by erasing the entire device
Error squeezing flash(Missing or corrupted log)
Error on database apply 40: NV storage failure
Use 'abort' command to exit
SW1(vlan)#
SW1 failed to create VLAN while SW2 created VLANs as below:
SW2#vlan database
SW2(vlan)#vlan 2
VLAN 2 modified:
SW2(vlan)#exit
APPLY completed.
Exiting....
Please let me know if someone worked out a solution for the problem.
