I believe 3550s require a reflector port.

Subject: When do we require reflector port in RSPAN

Group.
As my understanding , RSPAN is used to montior the traffic when the source
port is connected to say switch A and destination port is conneced to Switch
B. The configuration is as follows.

Switch A

vlan 100
remote-span

monitor session 1 source vlan 150
monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 100

Switch B

vlan 100
remote-span

monitor session 1 source remote vlan 100
monitor session 1 destination port fast0/6

I believe the above configuration is right. Do we require reflector port. If
yes when do we require it.

Thanks
Prem
