If I had to do a config on a switch that would require the switch to
be in Transparent mode, I would set it to client first, have all my
config propagated first, then make it a transparent mode switch. Only
if if doesnt require the VLAN/VTP info from other switches or it
doesnt even participate in the VTP Domain.
