Thanks for ur replies guys!I dont know why but it seems to be ok now..I used
to run dynamips by typing dynamips -H 7200 &then i restarted and tried again
while I removed the " &" and now it works...by the way i found some great

chat command to test the line from the modem: try doining a reverse telnet
on the line port of the modem connected, once you get connected you 'll be
able to test the dial out with "ATDT <telephone NO to connect>" This
