Hi Scott

I have just checked Amazon but can't find a book by Maurillio Gorito - do you have title ? Sounds really interesting.

Thanks

Ruth

Sorry to hear about your failure there. But alas (as someone once pointed
out to me) things like that are what make us human. :)

The reaction to what to do next will largely depend on what the score report
told you, and what you remember of the exam. To yourself, you should sit
down and try to figure out why you did not get enough points. Was it time
management? (I'd work on the same labs you have been and concentrate on your
processes) Was it any particular technology? (I'd either hunt down labs
using that, or write/create your own) Was it simple wording and
interpretation? (I'd use the same labs, and try to think of different ways
questions could be worded to mean the same thing, and ask more questions of
the proctor next time)

You may check out the Cisco Press book written by Maurillio Gorito (R&S
content lead - proctor). While the lab scenarios are interesting, the
important part is the process the book walks you through in terms of
questions you may ask the proctor and answers to those. Another thing to
try is the CCIE Assessor. It is also written by proctors (similar wording
structure), and you get feedback. So you may realize how they ask
questions, and what they really mean by using this tool.

Best of luck in your prep for next time!!!
