If your budget is limited, I would say do rack rentals from various
vendors to do mock labs and use dynamips (which is free) for everything
else. This way, you get exposures to various rack setups and can use
your own PC with dynamips to lab things up.

As far as extensive training programs, I did not have budget for that
either. But I used internetworkexpert's COD was quite good and cheaper
than its classroom equivalent...

Subject: Remote Racks Advice !

Hi There,

I was searching for remote racks to get some hands on bearing in mind
that I don`t have much experience and I need to attempt CCIE within a
year time. I came across web site www.lanbase.com which provides not
only one of the vendors workbook but also complete equipment to go
through their labs in addition to a mentored training plan

Mainly there are few leading vendors who are offering CCIE mentored
training on long term basis (17 weeks, 8 weeks or 10 weeks) but they are
a bit expensive for me.

Looking forward some some feedback. one important thing to note down
is that I have limited budget and plenty of time out of my job hrs to
dedicate for studies/lab.

  Thanks
  Ahmad
