Absolutely. The address IS link-local after all.

I recommend using FE80::1 for R1, FE80::2 for R2, etc. Make your life
easier!

Hello,

Is it possible for 2 interfaces eg. (Fa0/0 & S0/0/0) have the same link
local address? If it's allowed..... is there any drawback for having this?

Thanks,
Rob
