Hi there,

Although you don't have to get the other certs to go for ccie, it's
advisable to - you'd be expected to be able to pass them as a ccie, so
you might as well and they're only 1-2 hr exams, but will give you a
great grounding and fill in gaps that you might have and never thought
about.

It also might give you the attractiveness for a company to take you on
and give you the time to train for a ccie - invest in your personal stock!
