As long as you understand the material on the Blueprint, it is not a
requirement to go through the courses, as these are resources to HELP you
get there. The CCIE exam is not easy and there are no shortcuts. I have
the CCNP certification and four failed attempt....and abandoned the pursuit
at least once. After washing off the blood and letting my wounds heal
(figuratively speaking), I am starting to rejoin the journey (and it is a
journey). Study hard, do the labs, learn, use the resources, learn more,
etc. No shortcuts to being a CCIE.
