Sam,

Answers inline:

Query for people who have taken the R&S lab before (*without breaking any
NDA*).

1. Is it possible for someone to get the same lab twice?

Yes - Will it work - Mine didn't = I got another lab that I did not have before.

2. Lets say someone took the lab one month ago, and if he goes and takes the
lab after around 30 days (which is the minimum wait period between two
attempts), is there a possibility of him getting the same lab again during
his next attempt?

I would think slim to none. There are rumored to be some 15 or more variants of labs (each lab?) - That means even going once per month for a year you may still not see the same lab exactly - and I gather they get updated or change along the way. So odds are like 1 in 15 if those numbers are correct and Cisco never updates their labs... Sucks to study for one topic that just required a default answer, then be given another that requires you to know how to perform the calculation... and maybe someone did not take the time to learn the "how to" do it portion of the task thinking a keyword would suffice... Subtract 2-3 points for that one...

3. Does Cisco track what lab you got previously or does it just boil down to
pure luck or misfortune?

This would be a question for Cisco or the proctors. Think about it. Of course many say one lab is harder than another or someone just got lucky... The average says someone will get lucky about every 3.98 attempts or so...

4. Is there a correlation between number of lab attempts and chances of
getting a previous lab again?

I think my reply to question 2 would answer this one too. I would guess about every 3.98 attempts or so...

Do the math...

Learn the technologies Syed, lots of tips and tricks inside of each technology and each lab is a bunch of them tied together, learn how the protocols are treated in a given scnario - there are a limited number of scenarios.

Later...

Good Luck!
