Re: IE Mock Lab VS. Assessor Lab

Hmmm...

I've taken both.

1. For both cost and sheer amount of feedback, you
will prefer the IE Mock Labs or even better the NMC
CheckIT Labs.

- IE Labs have Video Explanations that help explain
the why's and alternative configurations. An
excellent learning aid.

- NMC CheckIT Labs - Have got to have the most
comprehensive feedback of any mocks labs I have yet to
experience. Plus you get access to the CheckIT Engine
which keeps your configs so you can literally baseline
the master config vs. your config and run the
appropriate show commands and the associated
verification commands as well.

If you have the means it would be a great advantage to
try a few of both of the above types of labs. Each
lab varies and they are quite different and stress
different aspects of each protocol or group of
features.

2. The Accessor Labs - Great since you may get a sneak
peak at the actual lab's physical layout - remember
logical is 100% variable however. The thought
processes on what the writers of the lab and their
flavor is sprinkled in as well. Pricey for what you
get in terms of feedback and they are each about 1/2
of a lab. (IE and NMC and HU and I'd imagine NLI and
IPExpert are all more 150-200% of a real lab and
usually as challenging to frightful).
There is feedback but is rather bland in comparison to
the vendors listed.

Does this help a bit?

OK, it's 4:12am on a Saturday Morning - gotta sleep
sometime.
