Dear Groupstudy users,
I would like to introduce myself, officially this time, as Roman Rodichev
(5xCCIE #7927), the instructor, content developer and "brain" behind
ieMentor.
It has been a great pleasure providing support and receiving positive
feedback
from everyone on this mailing list. Im writing this email so that I can
explain
the reason for not releasing my real name before (instead I went as Sergey
Golovanov). In the last 7 years, I dedicated all my time and effort to
building
a career path of a network consultant. High end Cisco network design
projects
have been my passion for a very long time. But I realized that I also enjoy
providing knowledge transfer by bringing my hands-on experience to other
engineers. Two years ago Ive decided to focus not only on becoming a good
engineer, but also a good instructor. I dedicated the last two years to
ieMentor
by helping them build the class material, workbooks, other content, and most
importantly their concept and style of in-class training delivery. I also
decided that I want to hide my name during this time to avoid recruiters,
competitors and other Cisco training partners from calling me and !
offering jobs, and finally steering me in the wrong direction, because Im a
sucker for a cool project! :)
After two very successful years at ieMentor I decided to be open with
everyone,
because my goals are very clear to me now. My #1 goal is to help others
achieve
what I have achieved in the last several years. I hope everyone will respect
and
honor my goal.
I do understand that I cant scale to teach every track, thats why Ive
been
mainly focused on the Service Provider and Storage tracks. They are dearest
to
me because of some of my most memorable experiences as a consultant. But Im
now
happy to announce that in July-August Im going to introduce new ieMentor
Security Workbook/Bootcamp. In addition, new ieMentor Voice Workbook will be
releasing in couple of weeks. I promise to set a new standard for the CCIE
training market by providing the most advanced bootcamp available on the
market
today, same thing that I have been doing with the Service Provider training.
We are pretty young, but weve achieved some great results with the Service
Provider track already. We will be releasing an entirely new Service
Provider
Workbook v2 and Bootcamp v3 this summer, while releasing the new Security
Workbook and Bootcamp of same quality.
I would like to thank everyone who had used our workbooks and trained in our
bootcamps. I can tell from your reviews on our website that you've been
pretty
happy with our work. Im looking forward to seeing other CCIE candidates in
my
classes! As usual, I will be at networkers this year. If anyone wants to
meet
