Hiriam,
Don't worry about learning the "DOS" interface to the Cisco routers, it's
rarely ever used these days. I would ask Cisco if you can get both of your
CCIEs (Voice and Security) on the same day. I'm sure you can breeze right
through the first one before lunch and do the second one in the afternoon.
You're right Cisco made a big mistake having all their routers run "DOS",
but they're not all that bright anyways. You might ask if you can use
Windows boxes as routers instead of the Cisco routers they provide. I'm sure
they'd appreciate your initiative and insight since they're all the same
anyways.
