Hi Laurence,

Depends on which type of interfaces you are using. rip trigged works only on
virtual template interface... You will need to set a rip domain and check
debug ip rip using the options mentioned before....

passive interface default --- the router will not send any updates on that
link but it will still listen and accept routes in..
nei --- will change the update from multicast address into unicast address
and so on...

Also, there are few tricks on interface connected to the rip network too....
