You are right, Digital - the taxes in the US are extremely high. Most
people in the US work from January through May for the government.
Having said that - there are a few other items that you need to consider
also. The first is the fact that you do get something back for your tax
dollars - such as good roadways. The second item to consider is the
cost of living and the bang for your buck. If the cost of living is
dramatically less than other places with lower tax - it just may be
worth it to make the move.
