Hi everyone,
I have two questions in BGP in the lab exam.
1. Should all IGP routers can ping BGP routes which are from Backbone server, if BGP only enable some of IGP routers?
For example, I have six routers R1 to R6 which enable IGPs. I only enable BGP on R1, R3 and R5. R1 is the EBGP peer of BB1, and R5 is the EBGP peer of BB2. Should R2 and R4 ping the routes from BB1 and BB2?
2. If so, should I redistribute BGP routes into IGP routers to let all IGP routers ping BGP routes, or setup tunnels between BGP routers?
Do anyone have better ways to solve this problem?
Thanks for any reply.
Laurence
