What you can do is build up a 3620/3640/3660 router in dynamips and put an NM-16ESW module into it. It doesn't give you all the functionality of the 3550 by any means, but does get you part way. There's a reasonable amount of documentation around about doing this. InternetworkExpert among others have papers about using them.
