Dear Narbik
Thanks really for your explanation, I got it now, but can you
please tell me which book or document list a detailed illustration of these
commands, the DOC is not enough at all.
Thank you again :)

Subject: Re: Understanding "frame-relay
end-to-end keepalive" command
The event-window in your scenario keeps track
of the last 7 most recent events, and if any 4 (because of the of the
error-threshold 4 command) of these 7 events are failures, then the line
protocol of the sub-interface will go down. Whereas, for the success-threshold
counter, the number you configure must happen in a raw for the line protocol
to come back up.

Hi Folks,

From the above link, I tried to understand the
significant
of the following commands but I could not :
map-class
frame-relay olga frame-relay end-to-end keepalive reply frame-relay
end-to-end keepalive error-threshold receive 4 frame-relay end-to-end
keepalive event-window receive 7
I am not getting the concept
behind
receiving the
err-threshold , also I am not able to understand the
event-window keyword and
what the number 7 represents here.
I will
appreciate any input on this
Ismail
