My 2nd lab attempt is scheduled for Tuesday, 3-13. To make myself
feel better, I decided to try an NMC CHECKiT lab on Sunday. Now I feel
worse. The amount of work and difficulty seemed to be far worse than I
experienced in the real thing. I took the entire 9 hours, didn't complete
all of the tasks, and I scored a 66, and now I'm a little worried about my
odds of passing on Tuesday.
Is a 66 on CHECKiT lab 11 all that bad, and could that translate
to an 80 on the real lab? Or should I cancel all of my plans and devote
this final week to nothing but study?
I've found that preparing for the lab is a 2nd full-time job, and
it has negatively affected every portion of my life. I'd really like the
2nd attempt a success.
