So what's the real advantage of enabling bdpuguard on global config?

This document says configuration of bdpu in the global config:

That's BPDUFilter and not BPDUGuard. IF the command is used at the global
level, it's enabled on Port fast enabled interfaces, the command is as
follows:

  Spanning-tree portfast bpduguard default

With BPDUGuard, if the port receives a BPDU, it transitions into errdisable
mode. There are basically couple things that you can do to bring the port back
to it's normal (forwarding) state, Shut and no shut, or configure the port to
automatically recover every so many seconds, as follows:

  errdisable recovery cause bpduguard
  errdisable recovery inerval 300

In this case the port will automatically recover every 5 minutes (300
seconds) and if it sees another BPDU, it will transition into errdisable mode,
and the cycle repeats itself.

    Hey Shine,

Per my understanding, BDPU guard of the config mode works in tandem with
portfast and when a portfast enabled interface receives a BPDU the port is
transitioned back to the normal "non-portfast" state and goes back to
listening/learning etc modes.

Is there any advantages on enabling the bpduguard feature on a per
interface
basis rather than in global configuration? Can anyone give me some lights
to
    it?

    Thanks you,
