Hello GS,
Can somebody give me the final word regarding the Pruning Eligible VLANs in
Cisco as I am having trouble getting the right information from Cisco
documentation. In the following documentation it says:
'By default, VLANs 2 through 1000 are pruning eligible'
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk689/technologies_tech_note09186a00800
94c52.shtml
and this documentation in page 19 says: 'VLAN range eligible for pruning VLANs
2 to 1001'
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps646/products_configuration_
guide_chapter09186a008014f375.html
Is this just a typo or there is any substance in it or I am missing anything.
Thank you,
Shine
