allocation of data vlan when connected via cisco phone

Hi GS
Hope you can help me with this one, I have looked on CCO and can't find an explaination that offers a complete answer.
I have a question on how to put the data from a PC into the correct vlan when connected via a IP phone.
mls qos trust cos ....trust cos of tagged frames
switchport mode dynamic desirable...dynamic 802.1Q trunk
switchport voice vlan 90..CDP tells phone voice vlan
auto qos voip cisco-phone...auto qos trust boundary phone or..
mls qos trust device cisco-phone...manual QOS

This much I understand

So my question is for data (untagged before it reaches the phone)
Do I use ..
switchport access vlan 21
or
switchport trunk native vlan 21

I have not managed to find an example on CCO where the data is anything but vlan 1
