IPExpert R&S WB8.0 [OSPF Lab 5] - Virutal Links

Hi Group,

Just trying to understand when virtual links are needed.

In the IPEXPERT scenario lab #5 it looks like the diagram below:

Why is it that R4 doesn't need a virtual-link?
Where as R2-R5, R5-R7, R2-6 needs virtual links but not R4? Thanks!
