Actually the 6548 can support the WS-F6K-DFC3B, and be used with the Sup720.
If you are looking for 256Gbps connections for FE to the desktop. The
6548-GE doesn't support a DFC, but can still use the fabric via centralized
forwarding with the Sup720.
