If anybody wants to purchase some 4210s running 5.x just send me an
email offline.

These are REAL Cisco 4210 sensors and not FrankenIDS boxes.

You'll want either a 4215 or a 4235 with a 4FE card installed. The
4235s
are cheaper than the 4215s from what I've seen. Now, you can do quite a
bit
with a 4210 that will run 5.x IPS code. If you can afford it, go with
the
4235 w/ 4FE, if not, settle for a 4210. :)

Brad,

Many thanks, appreciate this very much.

Also what would be the smallest IPS 4200 series
that you would recommend for the revised security lab ?

Zahid

In order for failover to work, both ASA's need to have the same license.
And for the security lab exam, you will want both ASA's to have the
Security
Plus license. In addition, if either ASA has an SSM (either CSC or
AIP),
then the failover MUST have the same exact module.
