  Hi,

There is a nice link at Cisco Site
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/41.html

but in general you define what Vlan should be acting as a Remote Span
Vlan using
Sw1(config-vlan)#vlan 666
Sw1(config-vlan)#remote-span ?

Now be sure to pass that vlan over the trunk ports if using RSPAN

HTH

Subject: Ingress VLAN in RSPAN/SPAN

Hi Group,

What is ingress VLAN and encapsulation in a SPAN/RSPAN destination
port.

Below is from DOC CD

monitor session session_number destination interface interface-id
[encapsulation {dot1q [ingress vlan vlan id] | isl [ingress]} | ingress
vlan vlan id]
