I read the thread on this the other day, but I'm having similar
problems.
IE Lab 2, sw1 cannot ping sw2 and vice versa - I am using dynamips btw
The trunk is up, VTP is up and vlan's have populated, interfaces are up,
everything looks ok, but when I try to ping I get encapsulation failed.
Port-channel 1 is the link to sw2
I have even tried shutting down all VM's for other routers/switches, but
still cannot get the two talking - it seems other devices are having
similar problems.
I am emulating 3640's with 16 port switch modules. IOS is 12.4(12)
