Yikes - do not give up!
Even though it seems like you are far from your goal...you cannot look
at it that way. You simply are not that far from it really! Look at your
Multicast performance - in your previous attempt you scored 100% - you
obviously have an excellent grasp of that technology area obviously, or
you NEVER could have scored that way.
I believe you are correct in your own self assessment - you are having
problems with task interpretation. You think you know exactly what the
task is asking for. You are then making and verifying a configuration
that works perfectly. The only problem is - it is not the configuration
Cisco was looking for.
I remember reviewing one of my configurations that I thought was
absolutely perfect. Suddenly, as I was about to consider those points
achieved - I realized that I had applied the technology in the wrong
direction on the interface! It would have been very easy not to catch
this (especially considering the terrible wording of the task). Had I
not caught it - I would have been one of the many saying "How could I
have scored XX% in this section?????"
I also really struggled with BGP in my lab attempts - there are so many
places where you can go wrong there. And once again, it is scary because
you think you are actually configuring the task correctly.
Really work on those weak areas...and practice your task interpretation
against new practice labs. DO NOT KEEP WORKING THROUGH THE SAME LABS.

It sounds as if you are missing smaller details in the areas which are
costing you the points for the section. Smaller mistakes spread out
over
the exam hurt more than just large mistakes in on section since it is
all or
nothing per section.
It is a common thing, and I would certainly not give up at this point.
If
you ever want to pass the Lab it is much easier to keep going, than it
is to
stop and break and then pick it back up again.
IGP - 63% is roughly 20/32 or 19/30 or 17/27 in points depending on what
you
had on exam
BGP - 25% is roughly 3/12 in points
QOS - 38% is roughly 3/8 in points
In the IGP section 3 small mistakes is basically the difference between
the
63% and the goal you are looking for - 3 x 3 points sections = 9 points
which could easily be lost without attention to detail. There have been
sections on the Lab that when I configured them and checked them and
left
the Lab I was sure they met the requirements but as I drew up my after
lab
notes, I realized I forgot soemthing small that cost me points.
My suggesstions are to concentrate study time on reading the question
thoroughly, executing a solution, and then re-reading the question while
running debugs, show commands and very detailing checking whether or not
your solution actually meets each and every requirement in that section.
Also see if you can find a study partner who can do this with you and
possibly point out some things that you are missing and vice-versa. I
found
that the study partner was the best thing that helped me in my studies.
The
details on the sections that we consider "easy" are sometimes the ones
that
get us because we are really not looking hard enough at the exact
requirements and checking the specific details of the section because we
are
over estimating our own abilities on those topics.
Feel free to drop me an email offline if you have any questions,
