Hi
I came through this strange stuff or may be I am missing something here, on
Catalyst 3550s, the RP-candidate priority is not reflecting in BSR mode,
although it is working fine on routers, resulting in the selection of low
priority RP (whose priority is higher in rp-candidate command) and I guess
takes highest loopback IP address as tie breaker for the selection of RP,
and then all the routers connected through Cat 3550s are unable to ping the
IGMP joined groups..is it a bug or I am missing something here??
RP-Candidate(s) and BSR-Candidate function is performed by Routers.
Any comments, has anyone gone through this before?
Regards
Ali
