HI,

Please i need your help. Why is it that sometimes, the frame-relay inverse arp does not help in resolving layer 3 to layer 2 connectivity?
For example, i use the following interface commands in anticipation that the DLCI that is not used with the no frame-relay inverse-arp ip command will resolve to layer 3:

interface Serial0/0
ip address 156.1.0.1 255.255.255.0
encapsulation frame-relay
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 711
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 712
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 714
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 715
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 718
no frame-relay inverse-arp IP 719
frame-relay lmi-type cisco
