Everyone,

I posted this very question to the Certifications Online Support tool
and was told that the PIX and the ASA devices would be using 7.2.x code.

yes, you are correct in saying that 7.2 supports L2TP with IPSEC, but i
it
likely that the security LAB will be using 7.2 code?
I am assuming that CCIE
folks do not prefer to use the latest code immediately in LAB. They
*might*
use 7.0 or 7.1.
Any Ideas?

Shekhar, L2TP (over IPSEC) support
was put back into PIX 7.2.X release (it was not there in 7.0 and 7.1
releases
I think) , this is a sample configuration from CCO:

Does this
mean L2TP & PPTP is only tested against 3K?

Any thoughts?
