I had a lab recently with the additional switches. The additional switches didn't add much complexity but did eat up a significant amount of time configuring, had little point value and took precious brain cycles away (there's only so much you can do in 8 hours). So in a way it does make the lab harder. Which is fine, it shouldn't be easy. My gripe is with the lack of feedback on the scoring report. I got crushed on this last attempt but am not sure on exactly what (and I also noticed that the percentages with the point totals for some sections didn't add up????). I don't mind getting beat up on a test but I want to learn from it (plus for $1250 you should get something in return besides some humble pie). As for my study strategy, I'm giving up on the "do as many lab scenarios as possible" strategy and will focus in on some of the technologies that I'm weak in. Then I will re-enforce with some scenarios. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to everyone!
