Contratulations Lawny... Very well accomplished!

Daniel - I think that would be a bit on the NDA side of things, so not
likely to get answered!

Hi Lawny,My heartly congradulations. Did you get the new lab with 4
switches? Did you get anything otherthan the topics covered in IE workbook .
do share it with us Regards,Dany.\"L J\" wroteGS,I just wanted to let
everyone know that I passed yesterday at RTP. I havewaited a while to send
out an email to this group. The emails thateveryone would send once they
passed kept me motivated and hopefully thiswill motivate some one else. This
was a tough road for me and I honestly felt like giving up sometimesbut the
strength within me and the MAN upstairs pulled me through. Ipassed the
written in September of last year and started studying for thelab in March
this year but I took the wrong approach. I tried to learnby lab as IE
would call it. I did this for about 5 months only to findout during my first
attempt that I was in the category of didnt have aclue or I did not know
thy options as NMC categorizes candidates. Thisis the WORST approach that
you can take to prepare for!
this exam. I justabout had to relearn everything that I thought I knew the
right way whichwas read books, RFCs, google and then lab it up. After I did
this I thenstarted to do the labs. I took some mock labs over the past
couple ofweeks that I didnt score really high on but it was always an issue
withinterpretation. Once I got to this point I knew that I was ready
andthree months after my first attempt I passed.I would like to thank IE and
NMC for the material that they provide. Iwould like to especial like to
thank Indy from NMC and Mike from IE. Theyboth were very patient with me and
provided help when I needed. Thanks toeveryone on this list for asking
questions and to those who answered themwhether right or wrong. My motto is
no question is a dumb question.LawnyCCIE#17286\"The race is not given to the
