But be carefull with the results that
sh ip bgp neighbors x.x.x.x advertised-routes will present you.

e.g. if you set the MED towards an eBGP peer, this command will not show you
the modified MED (metric). It still shows you the unmanipulated MED, but
the manipulated MED is transmitted and correctly received by the eBGP
neighbor.
Unfortunately you can not check that during the real lab.
