Subject: Re: BGP Confederation Question
Do you have "neighbor ebgp" command configured on two spoker routers?

If I have:
- 3 different routers each in a unique BGP AS
- configured a BGP confederation identifier of "123" on the three of them
- configured BGP peer statements of the other two routers' AS on each
router
Is there some reason two of the routers won't peer? Two of my routers are
stuck in "Active."
FYI, the 3 routers are connected via hub-and-spoke Frame Relay, and only the
hub router seems to peer with the other two routers...the two spokes will
not peer. I have IP reachability between all three.
The spokes peer just fine without the confederation...
Is this normal?
Thanks,
Ed
