in short, no

eg, 203.0.0.0 /8 is NOT a class A, it is a class C

similarly, 10.6.7.0 /24 is NOT a class C, it is a class A

classful is classful, irrespective of the mask length

Subject: major network and classful

I am getting more and more confusing of these term.

Should everyone agree with me that classful net is thus network with /8
class A, /16 class B and /24 class C. This is what auto-summary will be
summarized to.

What is the defination of major network boundary?
